HiAOOS at EGU 2023
HiAOOS expert, Florian Geyer, took part in the European Geophysical Union (EGU) 2023 Conference. The conference took place in Vienna, Austria and Online from 23–28 April, 2023.
Florian’s poster presentation, entitled, “Assimilation of range-and-depth-averaged sound speed in Fram Strait” described his recent work in Arctic acoustics, which feeds into and supports the work carried out in HiAOOS (see Applications section). This poster was part of a session dedicated to Ocean modelling: numerical development and data assimilation. You can view the full abstract here.
