Stinger and Naxys at FFU Seminar
Our colleagues from Stinger Technology and Naxys Technologies took part in the 2024 FFU Symposium on 25th January. This annual event is organised by Norway’s FFU (Association for Remotely Controlled Underwater Technology). This constitutes the 29th edition of the meeting.
Approximately 250 participants participated in this forum that provides excellent opportunities for industry professionals to share their innovations and ideas.
Some of the main topics up for discussion were:
- New technology.
- Tech transfer from underwater technology to other areas, and vice versa.
- Innovation/new innovative products from the supplier industry.
- Application of new technology or products within underwater operations.
- New projects.
- New markets and opportunities for remote control underwater technology.
- Shared experiences.
HiAOOS partners provided a thorough introduction to the project and described how their innovation are expected to improve data collection under Arctic ice.
