The iAOS Portal – the integrated Arctic Observing System Portal – was developed during the project INTAROS, a predecessor to HIAOOS. The iAOS Portal consists of a series of in situ datasets and selected products from remote sensing applications and models.
iAOS includes:
- INTAROS Data Catalog – This Data Catalog contains descriptions of collected, derived and estimated datasets that are generated within the INTAROS project.
- iAOS Portal Catalogue – The iAOS portal provides a joint access point to the data integrated by the INTAROS Data Catalog and to a wide range of data made available by other open access Arctic Data systems. The portal also provides access to selected services developed in the iAOS Cloud Platform.
- ARCMAP Survey – The ARCMAP survey application is one of the services offered by INTAROS. Selected stations and moorings from this survey are shown through an online mapping application.
INTAROS collected data in key regions of the Arctic, and provided access to these datasets and other datasets of relevance to targeted stakeholders. Services were built on top of these data to provide customized data products for use in local communities, science, public and private sector. The iAOS data delivery chain is shown below.
